. . .

I spent my weekend on Oslo, Norway last week.

What a news! Last week was so mobile and lavish. -.-. I had to undergo a training in Solna for 5 days. That means that I could not cook my dinner my self and let my money flies. #pelit.

So, why in Oslo? In the middle of the training, I was told about our schedule for next month and found it will be so busy. Then I incited my friends how about having our week end in Oslo. Actually it was my personal mission to go to Oslo one day, but the perfect time has come.  In an hour, we already had a ticket round trip and hostel booking. Random!

It was rainy in the morning when we went to the train station. The train schedule is precise, exactly the same with written time in the ticket. Even when we had to changed train, the next one come after less than a minute. It took 4 hours to travel from my City to Oslo. There was not a passport stamping while entering the Norway, even on the Oslo Central Station. I think I because the Schengen regulation. *I wished I get a new stamp on my passport. -.-.

We were lucky because the weather was good. There was sun shine. Haha. But the wind was so cold because near the sea. We stayed in Oslo Hostel Central, booked it on booking.com .It was a good and nice hostel. It has clean room and great breakfast, located near from Station and Karl Johans Street. And the main point, it is cheaper than the others. I recommend it.

We shared the room with a Italian guy. His name is Rafael and working as chemist-something and seems so smart. He travelled a lot around europe. It was good to meet an engineer who loves travelling. Before we leave the hostel he gave me his email, one day if I go to his hometown, Naples, I can contact him. *happy.

The first destination on Oslo Opera House aka Operahuset . Operahuset is built near the sea or we can say connected to the sea, and white coloured. At that time there was a performance but I guessed the ticket should be very expensive. So we just wandering around and took some picture.

Karl Johans gate ( street in english) is popular street in Oslo. There are plenty of shops and restaurant.  We entered some of them but looking is the price will take you out from the shop. Haha. At the end of the street, there is big building with horse statue in front of. It is a Royal Palace. I think the design is not so magnificent, just like the other modern building.

On the next day, we continued our trip to Sclupture Park aka Vigelandsparken. There are many many statue there. It is not a common statues, all of them depict the man, woman, and child in nudity. Haha. I have a lot of picture of them. :P.

Viking ship museum is our final destination. It shows some of viking ships from ages before. I am not really interesting with this museum, so I spent my time sit and waiting for my friends.

One thing about Oslo is ‘Expensive’. The price is so high, even more expensive than Sweden. I think I can not afford to live here without having a good job and good salary. Dont imagine to studying here with self funded. Haha.. But It is a nice ‘little’ city.

*another photos is here, including the nude photos :D
