Today is Sabbatum Sanctum or Holy Saturday, when the Easter is begin. I joined the mass in Bandung. Why Bandung? Because the ceremony is complete compared to Jakarta Cathedral. Its understandable since Jakarta Cathedral has to stream the live video also via TVRI and Kompas TV. They have to comply with the duration.
Today is Good Friday. I attend the praying via Youtube in Katedral Jakarta Channel. There is no sung Passio, its just read by celebran and lektor. I guess due to duration becuse it also streamed by TVRI. In the normal condition, praying duration could be last for 2 hours. I got jokes about the streaming mass via Youtube. It got me. hahaha. A day before PSBB is implemented in Jakarta. Until today, I don’t really put extra attention in keep updated with corona virus information. Its Sunday again. Today is we celebrate the Palm Sunday as the beginning of Holy Week. Usually we go to Church, bring our palm and later the priest will sanctify with the holy water. However, with this online mass, we cant do that. Some of my friend put their own palm in the ‘altar’. Lucky them to get one. The ceremony is not that grande as if we attend in the church. Couple days ago, I read a news about PMI that was struggle to get more blood for patient. Yes, due to the outbreak, people get scared to go to PMI for giving blood. That is understandable. Everyone wants to reduce the risk. Because of that news, I convince my self, this is the time to giving blood. Last donation that I did was June 2019, jus a day before I leave Tembagapura. I regularly gives my blood there, even though my HB level is high. Actually its normal for people who lives in the highland has high level of HB.
This morning, I listen to the news in Kompas TV. Its about the market review. I am really happy to hear their explanation about the economics regulation that government has taken. They explain in more ‘positif’ way. Lot of news always put attention on the ‘negative’ said. Its the first time I see a host talking like that. She explain that the action from government is more to the poor people out there.
