Nowadays, seems everyone possesses at least a gadget, it could be a handphone or tablet. Even a child, we can see them playing with iPad istead of playing hide and seek, playing with mud, or just running around the house. It was very different about ten years ago. *yes I am old!. 

Well, for me, a gadget or handphone was a very luxury thing when I was in highschool. There were not so many people has HP in their pocket at that time, only who came from rich family. I remember the most popular HP was Nokia and the other were Motorola, Siemens, and Ericsson. I think HP was used as more for gaming, you remember the snake ? , than for phoning or sms.

My first HP is when I was in high school. It was produced by Motorola. The funny thing is my friend sell it to me. He said that it was very cheap. After talk to my parents, they agreed to buy me one. Happyy..

And it was my first and the last HP that my parents buy for me. So, do I only have one HP? Absolutely not, after that I have to use my own money. *proud. Well lets see my phone history :

Motorola E380. I think it is a unique phone. It has a flip from glass/plastic so we can see the monitor. It was quiet small and fit in my hand. My friend always call my phone as “anti huru hara” because the flip. They said it was like a helmet for police -.-. There was several lamps around the edge that blinking when I got a message or call.

Motorola C380/C385. After a year, MP3 music become more popular. Ringtone was not a polyphonic music any more. We can use MP3 as our ringtone. That’s the reason why I bought this phone. I had to sell my old phone and take some amount of money from my saving. This phone very handy and more colour full. I can also use it as modem for internet. But the speed was terrible. Haha.

LG B2000 . LG was well know as home appliance product. They started to expand their business to communication area. This was one of their first HP. I do not really remember why I bought this phone, I think it was because the depth of colour. Well, this phone had really sad story with me. It was stolen from me because of my stupidity, get foolish by the impostor. Oh, my friend also made funny with my phone, ” could your handphone wash my clothes? ” -.-

Motorola C261. Back to Motorola again. I dont have much money from my saving, so I have to buy a cheap one. This phone was released with Moto RZR and RKR, popular phone from motorolla, especially the pink coloured. Of course they were very expensive. I kept this phone until I get in to university. Haha. Long time.

Sony Ericsson W660. Sony Ericsson was popular with walkman series. Finally I can afford a quiet expensive phone. Things get better. Hahaha. With this phone I could listen to music anytime, put earphone every where I go. I love the design from SE, simple but elegant.

Sony Ericsson C510. I fallen in love with photography but I can not afford to buy a DSLR camera.  So I decided to buy a HP with powerfull camera. After my saving was enough, I bought this phone. The phone was very power full in taking picture. It had a good sensor and more advance function. The design was elegant too. Oh, I still kept this phone in my drawer.

iPod Touch 3rd gen.  It was my first Apple device. I need an dedicated gadget for listening music. I considered iPod and another some Mp3 player, eventually iPod is the winner. haha. I bought this phone also from my saving. It was quiet expensive for me. I lost this iPod when I went to Jogja. I realized that my iPod gone after two days later. Damn. I guess it was stolen on Trans Jogja.

BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100. This is my first high end phone I ever had. Haha. I can afford this phone because I get a job after my graduation. I bought this phone using my second payroll. I was confused whether to buy BB, Android phone, or Windows Phone. After some consideration, I get this phone in my pocket. This was not an ordinary BB, the keypad is semi qwerty. The size also not as big with his brother. I just love the design, elegant!.

Lumia 920.  Yellow! I do love the colour. Yellow is the new white. Haha. The operation system also the reason why i bouht this phone. WP is just e;egant. No lag as in Android system. haha. The UI is unique eventhough WP is lacking of application. At the first time I used this phone, I was kind of uncomfortable. The colour made everyone looked at me. Haha. But later those feeling become ‘proud’. I bought this phone after I got a new job with better salary of course. :P. It was no easy to get this phone. Because of my credit card was postponed, I had to go to bandung to get the Yellow one. The stock in Jakarta already sold out at that time. Moreover, It was flooding in Jakarta, so I went to Bandung for evacuation reason too. haha. This phone has an incredible function in taking picture. We can compare it with DSLR camera. I used this phone when I traveling in Singapore and other ASEAN country.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE. I need a tablet to read document. Haha. That’s the reason why I bought this phone. It has a great specification especially the screen, so bright. We can compare it with iPad with retina display. Well it has Android operation system. Actually, I want to buy Nokia tablet or Microsoft surface, but the price was so high and I was not available in Indonesia. So far, I enjoy this tab.

iPhone 4s. Yey, free phone from my company. I did not buy this phone, and I did not have plan to do. But I was free, so just enjoy the facility. haha..
