It takes around 10 hours for us to get in the Hotel in Surabaya. We departed from Jakarta at 9PM and arrive around 8Am in the morning. The trip actually quite smooth, we can pass the checking point in Cikarang without hassle. The police just checking the paper that we get from Exxon and we can go through.

This is the first time for me to go to Surabaya from Jakarta by mini bus. Unfortunately it was night time so I cant enjoy the view. We took the highway so its comfinient, spe stop in about 6 rest area. I join my friend when they have their Sahur.

After reaching Surabaya in morning, the checkpoint is more strict. We have to pull over and the policeman checking our identity. He is asking if there is girl in our car. I guess when he see my name. Haha. It happens a lot before.

The hotel that we will use as our quarantine base is Alana Hotel. Its ever more strict to get in. I find out that the protocol was made by Exxon. We are not allowed to meet our friends, order something from outside, no gym, no swimming. All I need to do is, stay in the room, go for meal and back to room. I have to wait until 5 days. In the last day, we will get rapid test before leaving to Exxon site in Cepu.
