Today the Ministry of Health grant the request of Jakarta governor to apply the ‘lockdown’ in Jakarta. The rule of this regulation will be different than just physical distancing that has been applied couple of weeks. This will be applied start from 10th of April.

There is always controversion in this kind of new regulation. The main issue is ojek online is not allowed to take passenger during this time window. They are only allowed to take food order or sending package. This will be a huge wave form them who depend from the ojek online. However, the government promises to give help or fund directly for those people. This fund can  be in term of food, money, or installment that can be posponet (for those who has debt as they purchased motorcycle or car).

This regulation will affect the company as well. Work from home should be mandatory for every company, except some type of company (listed in the brochure). I asked my friend that still going for work whether they will be get wfh as well, He said that his boss insist them to come to office everyday. Just like a normal day.

In this kind of situation, that number of patient still increasing, I guess the wfh will last for couple of weeks or month.
