Time really flies. A year has been passed. I can say that 2014 is one of my very experiencing year, got a lot of ‘fun’ of many upside-down condition. 

Started from my scholarship application that later not granted by the Erasmus committee. It was really tiring to prepare the documents, IELTS, and especially the recommendation letter from my lecturer. He was very busy, one day he promised me to meet him at Jakarta but eventually we could not meet each other. I had to go to Bandung to take the letter. I put a high expectation on my application but God said the other way.

In IBM I got many task from BNI and BCA project, later the Panin also required more attention. I wondering after my resignation, how do they manage those account? I hope everything is going well. Besides, I also got an opportunity to attend the training in Singapore. Finally after years, I could go abroad again. It was a private training, so kind of boring. haha. But I enjoy the after office time. I can go wandering around Singapore. Haha. I got a fancy Hotel in Orchard Road. It was two weeks, quite a long training in IBM. I enjoyed the one-dollar-ice-cream every afternoon in front of my Hotel.

A month later, I fulfilled my ambition to travel around ASEAN. I visited Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It was really tiring but amazing tour. I missed the moment. Hahaha. But the last day was a anti climax moment, I lost my flight back to Indonesia. -.-

After the announcement from Erasmus, I applied to a Sweden based company. I got the news from my campus mailing list. The company provide some training in Sweden for several month and of course an interesting offering. At the end, I passed all the test and become one of the candidate. After that I met the boss and he gave me the offering letter. It was taken two weeks to consider. Yes, it was not an easy task to decide whether I take it or not. If I take the opportunity, I will leave my comfort zone in Jakarta, my quite-good-job, my friends, my activities, my pleasure time, my me time, etc. At the end, I signed the contract. And now I am here, in Midroc Automation Indonesia.

As a new employee, I have to undergo a training, or on the job training, in Sweden. It takes six months devided in to two term. The first one is from September to December. It was really fun to be in Europe again, in the longer term for sure. I got a lot of experiences there. Snow, cold, culture, etc. I hope I can cope with all of them. I am waiting for the next term. On the last moment, when we back to Jakarta, I got a birthday surprise on the plane. Thank youuu..

So, from aforementioned story, 2014 is definitely a year of Travelling. I visited nine countries in a year. They are Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Qatar.

In this year, I also get clearer idea about my life especially my personalities. As they said, we have to leave our comfort zone to understand our self including our limit. I hope I can do better in the following year. To be honest, I still don’t know where to drive my life vessel. Work, Study, Love ? We’ll see.
