Why Do I Travel Alone, A Lot ?

Beberapa tahun kemudian, saya menambah perbendaharaan solo-travelling saya, baik domestik maupun luar negeri.

Continue reading “Why Do I Travel Alone, A Lot ?”

Tanjung Bira, Bulukumba

I spent my first week of my vacation this time at Bulukumba, visiting Bara beach. It supposed to be in January, but after having discussion with hostel owner, Jordan, he recommended me to come on March. He was true, this month is the best time to enjoy the beach, no rain and cloudy sky.

After landed in Makassar, I stayed at really cheap hostel at Panakkukang. It was only 75K with great facility and breakfast. #heaven. Haha. It is Makassar Guest House. If you want to stay at makassar for couples of day, this hostel can be one of your choice. Located in the central of makassar.

On the next day, I went to Malengkeri Terminal to catch my ‘bus’ to bulukumba. I was lucky because as I arrived there, a ‘bus’ just want to depart. On that ‘bus’ I met Isabele and Julia, and they become my travel mate for two days. Continue reading “Tanjung Bira, Bulukumba”

Two weeks ago, my friend posted on whatsapp group about travelling to Lombok and conquer the legendary Rinjani. “It is my call”. Without hesitation I contacted my friend and promise him if my schedule fit with his plan, I will join. And then, It turned okay.

*for more photo, please visit

Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep climbing.

I went to Lombok alone at Tuesday afternoon. I booked a flight at Batik Air, unfortunately the departure was from Halim Airport. That was my first time to visit this place. The airport is really small compare to Soetta Airport. I love Batik Air, I get Garuda taste with cheaper price. I also can use my earphone to watch the movie.

I met Mail and Rhey at Lombok Airport two hours later, they took the latest flight. In one our our driver came to pick us up. He is really generous, he gave us a free of charge to spend the night at his home. Actually, our plan was to sleep at airport, but he explained that it was a terrible idea. And thats true, no one stayed at airport. Eventhough I still can sleep well until sunrise. Continue reading “Mount Rinjani”

Bike Tour to Hunneberg

“I really miss that moment, biking and running in the wood”

Continue reading “Bike Tour to Hunneberg”

Trip To Vatican

Hehe.  Continue reading “Trip To Vatican”

Week End Getaway, Borobudur Hotel Jakarta

Rejeki anak soleh, ketika lagi bingung mau ngapain di hari sabtu tiba-tiba diculik teman buat nginap di hotel. Haha.

#ajib.

Singapore : First Time

“Can lah !”

Seems I will get used with this new English, Singlish!

Welcome to Singapore, Nate. It should be a year ago, but due to company regulation, my training was postponed. Yes, I come to this country for training reason. Actually this year training seemed to be postponed again, but in the last, I get confirmation that I will have my 2 weeks in Singapore. :)

The journey was started on 16 of March and will be finished on 29 March. It’s kinda long time, normally we only have maximum 1 week training, but for may department t can be 2 weeks. Haha.. All my transportation and accomodation is reserved by Smailing Tour, so it is not a bacpacker tour. Lets have a luxury for awhile. I proposed to book a hotel near from Marina Bay, but unfortunately those hotels was not available for two weeks in a row. So I get Mandarin Hotel on Orchard Road, still a 5 * Hotel anyway.

The first time I landed in Singapore, ‘Amazing’ is the word to be shouted. Singapore is not far away from Jakarta, but it is completely different atmosphere, especially the Airport, Changi. They have a big big airport. The facility is high tech equipped. Before leaving the airport, I bought a SIM card for my phone. I got M1 for SGD 18, it just only for internet, can not SMS or phone call. Indonesia should provide this system also for tourist, so they can contact they relatives by Social Networking or popular Messenger even they can make phone call by those application. I got 1 GB for a month. After that, I take my taxi to bring me to Hotel. It was a long line before my turn.During the road, I saw that Singapore is very clean country. Many trees is planted everywhere with tidy arrangement. The taxi driver keeps talking with me, he was an India. In Singapore, the taxi driver can receive a phone call, I think Indonesia is better for this case. Hehe. About 20 later, I arrived at my hotel.

to be continued : Language is the first culture shock for me. I can not hear their pronunciation clearly, many dialect here.
